The land upon which Arduthie House is built is first mentioned in land deeds dating back to 1789 when it was purchased as a site suitable for settlements. The present lovely detached Victorian house was completed over one hundred years ago.  Arduthie House has been run as a very successful and well known guest house for a number of years and is justifiably proud of its high reputation for quality, comfort and friendliness.
